Kulturarv och motståndskraft i återuppbyggnaden av svenskt totalförsvar
This article discusses how cultural heritage (CH) has recently become relevant to the rebuilding of Swedish total defence. In the Russo-Ukrainian War CH is understood as crucial to society’s ability to resist an enemy 다운로드. I proceed to discuss a discursive turn that has taken place in Sweden since 2023 as CH is not just considered important to protect against destruction, but is increasingly seen as having a role in strengthening social resilience 다운로드. Finally, I reflect on the risk of over-simplifying resilience, suggesting that CH is important to society for a number of reasons and not just for building national identity 다운로드.
